Jacobi AquaSorb CS Activated Carbon designed specifically for removing or reducing chlorine, water-soluble heavy metals and other dissolved organic contaminants, Also for control of taste and odour problems.

AquaSorb CS is a high activity granular activated carbon manufactured by steam activation from select coconut shell charcoal. Its enhanced microporosity makes it particularly well suited for the removal of low molecular weight organic compounds and their chlorinated by-products such as chloroform and other trihalomethanes (THM's).

It is also ideally suited for the removal of oxidizing agents such as chlorine and ozone from process water. An important feature of this material is its superior mechanical hardness and the extensive dedusting during its manufacture that ensures an exceptionally clean activated carbon product.

What AquaSorb CS Remove:

Chlorine and Chlorination By-products: Effectively removes free chlorine, which improves taste and odour, and reduces harmful trihalomethanes (THMs) like chloroform.
Low Molecular Weight Organic Compounds: Targeted removal of small organic molecules, which can contribute to taste, odor, or color issues.
Oxidizing Agents: Removes oxidizing agents such as ozone, protecting sensitive equipment such as ion exchange resins from oxidation damage.
Pesticides and Pharmaceutical Residues: Adsorbs various organic contaminants, including pesticides, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and pharmaceutical residues.
Water Discoloration: Removes tannins and other organic materials that cause coloration.
