The Aqua Pro 3 Ultra is designed to remove a wide array of water impurities (chlorine, toxins, heavy metals, etc) and to also remove any unpleasant tastes or odour issues which may be present in your water supply. it consists of three filters and housing bowls. The housing bowls can separated to enable greater flexibility for installation (i.e. in an L shape to be placed into corners, etc).

Filter Housing 1 - Silver Impregnated Carbon Block 5 Micron Filter.

Carbon Block Filter: Reduces Chlorine/Taste/Odour (CTO) and certain Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOC) from drinking water using coconut base carbons for a sweeter taste, Silver-impregnated carbon media helps prevent bacteria from colonising

This filter further reduces chlorine and any taste and odour issues that may be present in the mains tap water. The carbon block also reduces certain Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOC) from drinking water. The coconut base of the carbon also makes a slightly sweeter taste which is pleasant.

The carbon block has a very high dirt holding capacity with virtually zero pressure drop.

This filter contains Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) and Kinetic Degradation Fluxion (KDF). When these 2 are combined, they are known to kill algae and fungi, control bacteria growth and remove chlorine, pesticides, organic matter, rust, unpleasant taste and odour, hydrogen sulphide, iron, lead, nickel, chromium, cadmium, calcium, mercury and other organic compounds.

Filter Housing 3 - Ultra Disruptor Guardian.

Using unique disruptor filtration technology, Ultra Disruptor removes more impurities than any other water filter, including chlorine and harmful bacteria, cysts and viruses with exceptional high flow rates with no rejected water waste.

Electro adsorption enables the removal of a wide range of contaminants. It also means the water filter media can have larger pores, allowing much faster water flow. Ultra Disruptor electro adsorption water filters remove viruses and pathogens (including Legionella), cellular debris, trace pharmaceuticals, chlorine and particulates. Ultra Disruptor technology improves the safety and taste of drinking water.

This media has been specifically engineered to have an average pore size of 2 microns and a mean flow pore of 0.7 microns. This allows the naturally occurring charge field to affect the total volume of the individual pores, as well as virtually the entire void volume of the filter media itself.

No, This is deisgned for freshwater use only, you would need some kind of desalination unit.
