Filter Stages

Stage 1 - 5 Micron Sediment Pre-Filter: For the removal of sediments, dirt, sand and rust.

Stage 2 - Carbon Block (CTO) Pre-Filter: removes chlorine and organic chemicals that contribute to bad taste and odours.

Stage 3 - Membrane: Reverse Osmosis membranes are semi-permeable removing up to 99% of contaminants present in water including viruses, bacteria, heavy metals, fluoride, hormones, hormones, silica and salts.

Stage 4 - The included "Vitality" remineralisation/carbon filter enriches the water with healthy essential minerals, improving its taste and making it more enjoyable to drink.

Will will the pH of the pure water be?
The pH will be between 7.5 and 8.5

How long will it take to fill up the tank?
On first fill up it will take approx. one hour. After that you would have to use up all of the 3.2 gallon tank in one hit for it to take another hour.(which not many people do). As soon as you open the tap the system will already be activated to fill the tank back up.

Does this system remove PFA's and fluoride?
Yes, it removes both, the reverse osmosis process strips the water bare. then it remineralises the water so its healthier to drink.

Can this drinking water system also be used to change my tropical aqaurium water?
Yes, but I would bypass this systems remineraliser and use aquarium mineralisers

Do I need anything for this system so the plumber can install?
No, it comes with everything you need to install under the sink. it would only need extra parts for your particular install requirements. eg. more pipe, joints etc (please see write up for what comes in the kit).
