High-Efficiency 5-Stage Purification Process & Specifications

The system utilizes a 5-stage filtration: 3 x Pre-filters - 200 US GPD membrane and final DI resin polish, yielding approximately 0.3 - 0.5 Litres per minute.

Filter Stages

Stage 1 - 5 Micron Sediment Pre-Filter: For the removal of sediments, dirt, sand and rust.

Stage 2 - Carbon Block Pre-Filter: removes chlorine and organic chemicals that contribute to bad taste and odours.

Stage 3 - 1 Micron Sediment Pre-Filter: For further removal of smaller sediments, dirt, sand and rust.

Stage 4 - Membrane: : Reverse Osmosis membranes are semi-permeable removing up to 99% of contaminants present in water including viruses, bacteria, heavy metals, fluoride, hormones, silica and salts.

The effectiveness and productivity of RO systems increase with greater water pressure and temperature. The actual flow rate (in GPD) of any reverse osmosis system depends on your home water pressure and temperature.

Filter Replacement

Pre-filters should be replaced every 6 months or 2500 gallons (or when visibly dirty). If any of your pre filters are exhausted, using the unit will put additional pressure on the membrane. Filters are much cheaper to replace than a damaged membrane, which are also available on the website.

I have this five stage Aquarius 200 set up yesterday my TDS is going in around 360 and coming out between 8-10 ppm could you please tell me what you think?
The reading you are seeing on the ourput is directly after the membrane but before the di resin. So its doing a perfect job bringing your TDS down from 360ppm to 10ppm meaning your di resin only has to polish out 10ppm prolonging the life of the resin.

Does this system need power?
Yes it needs to plug in to power the booster pump and LCD panel.

Does this pump start automatically when the water starts flowing?
Yes, if you are using a float kit, ball valve or tap to switch off the pure water line this in turn will shut off the pump and waste water line. When pure water line is re-opened the booster pump will kick in and open the waste water line too.

what is the inlet water pipe diameter for the Aquarius 5 Stage LCD Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System + Di (200 GPD)?
Both inlets and outlets are 1/4" pipe.

Could you advise if this system comes with auto flush?
Yes, it has a built in auto-flush. It will flush the system on startup, when not used for a few days and every 5 hours of run time, controlled by the LCD monitor.

Can I move the TDS sensor probes?
Yes, you can move the output TDS to post resin placement instead of post membrane.

Do you leave the system on and it will switch off by itself?
You can leave the system on. When you swirtch off the pure water line either by ball valve or float switch the system will shut off the booster pump and waste water line and go into standby mode. Its no problem switching it off though if not in use for a while or you are going away for some time, it will just reset the system when you first turn it on and do a complete flush and test.
