Replacement filter for the BMB Zada stand-alone, 4-stage Ultrafiltration system. The system incorporates a state of the art filter, easy Plug & Play components and Quick Change Filter Technology (QCFT) for low-cost maintenance. This is also the first filter stage to be replaced in the BMB Zada Pro Ultra Filter

Stage 1: 1-micron filter which is infused with zinc nanoparticles that activate in the water for antibacterial properties. This stage has a microorganism kill rate of more than 99% while filtering sediment, dust and particles that are greater than 1-micron size.

Stage 2: Activated coconut shell carbon powder with one of the highest surface area capacities in the world (1 x 1015 m2). This tremendous capacity allows for 99.9999% absorption and removal chemicals such as chlorine, benzene, radon, solvents trihalomethane compounds, volatile organic chemicals (such as pesticides and herbicides) and hundreds of other man-made chemicals that are regularly found in tap water.

Stage 3: 0.5-micron filter which is also infused with zinc nanoparticles that activate in the water for antibacterial properties. This stage also has a microorganism kill rate of more than 99% while filtering sediment, dust, particles that are greater than 0.5-micron and heavy metals such as chromium, lead, mercury and cadmium.

Stage 4: Ultrafiltration (UF) element that is composed of 0.2-micron hollow fiber strains. The UF element will remove 99.99% of bacteria, particles down to microscopic size, heavy metals such as Iron and manganese along with hundreds of other compounds that are regularly found in tap water.

It is recommended this filter on both the BMB Zada Ultra stand alone and the BMB Zada Pro Ultra Filtration Units every 18-24 months for residential use and if used in a commercial setting changing will be required every 12 months.
