The HI-93746-01 are high quality reagents that are pre-measured, allowing for users to achieve fast and accurate colorimetric measurements. These reagents follow an adaptation of the TPTZ method. The reaction between iron and the reagent causes a violet tint in the sample. By simply adding the reagent to the sample, a reaction will take place and a compatible benchtop or portable meter can be used to determine the concentration from the colour that is produced. The results will be displayed in mg/L (ppm) of iron. These reagents are designed to be used with samples that have an expected range of 0 to 1.60 mg/L iron.
The HI-93746-01 Iron low range reagent is suitable for use with the HI-96746 portable photometer and the HI-83200 and HI-83099 multiparameter bench photometers.
This reagent provides enough to do 50 tests.
Range: 0.00 to 1.00 mg/L
