This premium carbon block filter is made of pure, sintered coconut carbon. This carbon is produced from selected species of coconut shells and is characterized by high density, large volume of micropores and large surface area. It is widely used for drinking water purification, beverage production, dialysis, aquarium water and various food contact applications.

The cartridge has antibacterial properties and removes chlorine, chlorine-related compounds, and undesirable aromatic and flavour compounds from water. Through a combination of high-performance carbon, unique binders and proprietary manufacturing processes, the cartridge provides exceptionally low pressure drop, high solute retention capacity and excellent contaminant reduction

Ultra fine filtration: High VOC reduction, High chemical absorption and Turbidity reduction.

This premium carbon filter is registered as meeting NSF/ANSI requirements for VOC and THM reduction, lead reduction, chloramine reduction, chlorine taste and odour, and other requirements for the cleanliness and safety of construction materials. Cartridges should not be used for microbiologically contaminated water or of unknown origin. In order to extend the service life, a sediment filter should be used to protect the carbon filter from premature clogging with a pre-filtration min. 1 micron
