The Coldstream CF108W is a high performing ceramic cartridge which is capable of chemical removal as well as chlorine, heavy metals, pesticides, herbicides and bacteria and cysts, making it the most powerful ceramic cartridge currently on the market.
This filter can be a direct replacement for any 2.5 x 10 Inch cartridge and comes with rubber washer rings to ensure it will fit any housing.
Stage 2 - Chlorine and Limescale Filter: incorporates granular activated carbon (GAC) which is combined with De-alk resin, effective against chlorine, taste, and odour, heavy metals
Osmio Limescale & Chlorine Filter changed every 3-6 months (dependent on hardness)
2.5" x 10" Limescale & Chlorine Filter Filter incorporates granular activated carbon (GAC) which is combined with Phosphate and De-alk resin.
The filter is effective against chlorine, taste and odour, heavy metals e.g. lead, and will also tackle hard water, which is seen as limescale in kettles and as an unsightly scum on the surface of hot drinks.
Water hardness varies greatly depending upon location, so the second filter will need to be replaced at 3 - 6 monthly intervals or longer all of which entirely depends on the hardness of your water and the amount you use
