The PRO-III Ultimate is designed to remove a wide array of water impurities (chlorine, toxins, heavy metals, etc) and to also remove any unpleasant tastes or odour issues which may be present in your water supply. The Pro-III consists of three filters and housing bowls. The housing bowls are all separate to enable greater flexibility for installation (i.e. in an L shape to be placed into corners, etc).
Filter Housing 1 - Active Ceramics Filter. Active Ceramics Large Whole House Filter which uses an advanced formulation of active-ceramics which are highly effective at reducing a wide array of water impurities including chlorine, toxins, heavy metals, hormones and fluoride
This filter is replaced every 3 years or 300,000 litres and is highly effective at the removal or reduction of a vast array of impurities in water including chlorine, hormones, fluoride, lead and so on. This filter is also highly advanced and effective at killing and containing bacteria in water such as E-coli, Pseudomonas and other microorganisms.
The filter uses a unique filtration method using a patented active ceramics blend, it has 4 different active ceramics which treat the water in a different way and is completely unique.
Not only that, but the filter adds antioxidants and minerals back into the water after filtering and additionally makes water more alkaline by raising the pH value, usually increasing the pH to around 0.5 a point or more (however this could be more or less depending on a number of specific variables including the presence of certain dissolved solids and gases).
Filter Housing 2 - Carbon Block 5 Micron Filter. Carbon Block Filter: Reduces Chlorine/Taste/Odour (CTO) and certain Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOC) from drinking water using coconut base carbons for a sweeter taste
This filter further reduces chlorine and any taste and odour issues that may be present in the mains tap water. The carbon block also reduces certain Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOC) from drinking water. The coconut base of the carbon also makes a slightly sweeter taste which is pleasant.
The carbon block has a very high dirt holding capacity with virtually zero pressure drop.
Filter Housing 3 - GAC and KDF Process Media Filter Cartridge. Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) and KDF Process Media primarily reduces the bad taste and odours of chlorine and other heavy metals such as aluminum, arsenic, mercury, cadmium, copper, iron, lead
This filter contains Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) and Kinetic Degradation Fluxion (KDF). When these 2 are combined, they are known to kill algae and fungi, control bacteria growth and remove chlorine, pesticides, organic matter, rust, unpleasant taste and odour, hydrogen sulphide, iron, lead, nickel, chromium, cadmium, calcium, mercury and other organic compounds.
Active Ceramics:: 3 year filter life or 300,000 litre capacity. Life of filter may vary depending on water hardness and local water quality.
5 Micron Carbon Block - filter life 6 to 12 months depending on usage.
GAC Process Media Filter Cartridge - Filter Life: Approximately 12 months or 152,000 litres depending on usage and local water quality
Additionally the full kit includes filters, three full flow black line housings with 1" BSP female ports, brackets with screws and large housing spanner.
The filter is ideal for situations where you need a higher flow rate or have very low water pressure problems.
The system also comes supplied with the brackets with screws and large housing spanner.
Note: A typical 3-4 bed house can use between 25-40 litre per minute depending on amount of people and appliances.
